Youth Company

Fort Wayne Ballet's youngest performing level is the Youth Company. These students range in age between 11-15 years old. Youth Company members are our ambassadors of Fort Wayne Ballet, and often go out into the community performing at various outreach events. The Youth Company serves several purposes and benefits many. The Youth Company's Outreach performances are meant to bring the art of dance to people who may not be aware, or not have access to quality arts performances. The Youth Company has a set repertoire each year of ballet variations, jazz, tap, and Spanish pieces.  This wide range of repertoire gives the group flexibility in accepting various requests from organizations. Having a varied repertoire means the Youth Company can perform on multiple types of floors like linoleum and carpet, not just a formal stage area.
