2010 The Nutcracker
Celebrate the holiday season with The Nutcracker. Fort Wayne Ballet is pleased to present this classic tale performed to Tchaikovsky's beloved score. This childhood adventure is sure to transport everyone in your family to a different time and place as you spend the evening with our young heroine, Clara, and the cherished toy - her Nutcracker. Enjoy the lavish sets and costumes while embarking on the magical journey to the Kingdom of Sweets where everyone from around the world celebrates the return of the Nutcracker Prince and Clara's triumph over the Mouse King. In our increasingly busy lives, it is vital we celebrate traditions which build community and family. Our community has made Fort Wayne Ballet's production of The Nutcracker one of these hallmarks year after year. Make our Nutcracker your Nutcracker.

All performances will be held at the Arts United Center, 303 E. Main Street, Fort Wayne.
Ticket prices
*Friday December 3 & Saturday December 4 at 8:00pm: Adults $40 – Seniors (60+) & Youth (11-18) $35 – Children (3-10) $30
All other performances: Adults $27.50 – Seniors (60+) $22.50 – Youth (11-18) $17.50 – Children (3-10) $13
How to Order Tickets
You can order tickets by doing the following:
- By Phone: You may call the Fort Wayne Ballet at 260.484.9646 and to purchase tickets with a credit card through November 24. As of November 29, please call the Arts United Center box office at 260.422.4226 to purchase your tickets with a credit card.
- In Person: You may purchase tickets at Fort Wayne Ballet, 324 Penn Avenue, Fort Wayne through November 25 between 9 am and 6 pm. As of November 29, you may purchase tickets at the Arts United Center box office, 303 E. Main Street (in the front vestibule) Monday - Friday between 12 pm - 6 pm.
- On the day of a performance: Arts United Center box office is open from 12 pm - 8 pm and for matinee performances, 12 pm - 2:30 pm. Call in advance to confirm availability at 260.422.4226.
- Download and fill out the 2010-2011 Ticket Order Form.
The following payment types are accepted: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover), Cash, and Money Order. No personal checks, please.
Sugar Plum Parties
Matinee performances include a special treat following each performance - the Sugar Plum Party. Parties begin at the conclusion of each matinee in the Ian Rolland Gallery. Enjoy sweets while you meet Clara and her friends! Get autographs and take pictures with selected members of The Nutcracker cast. Tickets are $7 and may be purchased with your performance tickets (seating is limited).
Gift Shop
Searching for the perfect gift for you dancer? There is gift shop at every performance that will open before the show, at intermission and after the show.
Inclement Weather: Should Fort Wayne and/or surrounding areas experience inclement weather any day throughout our Nutcracker production, performances of The Nutcracker will still go on as scheduled. There will be no refunds for unused tickets as a result of inclement weather.
