Spring Performance:

A Midsummer Night's Dream:

Spring is the time of lovers and renewal, a perfect match as Fort Wayne Ballet offers Shakespeare's enduring comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream.  In this lush tale of passion and heartache, the wedding between the Duke of Athens and Queen of Amazons is interrupted by four young people whose lives are entangled by both true and unrequited love.  It will only take on night in a forest ripe with illusion and dreams for these young lovers to discern the "truth" of their love!  Mendelssohn's breathtaking score accompanies lilting choreography.  Wander the forest with us as we serve the fairy queen, where one's love and fate are altered at the whim of a mischievous faun and the touch of an enchanted flower.
