Trainee Program

Fort Wayne Ballet’s Trainee Program takes the Conservatory Program to the next level and grooms students to become professional dancers. Trainees have achieved an advanced level of classical ballet but seek additional training before auditioning for a professional company. The program is a two-year, full-time, 54-credit program leading to a Fort Wayne Ballet Certificate of Dance. Many students also partner with a local university to pursue a fully rounded academic experience, providing them with general education and specialized dance training.

Company Auditions

Fort Wayne Ballet Company Member Auditions for the 2013-2014 season will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at our Main Studio Location. The audition will include ballet, pointe, and an interview. Please bring a dance photo, headshot, and resume with you the day of the audition.
